If you want to save a bit of money you might as well look for used RAM. Any should do, but you'll most likely end up with naked modules that don't look as pretty. 1600Mhz should be good enough. I had to reduce mine from 1600mhz to 1444MHz so I only OC'd the CPU. Result: moar fps, esp. in CPU heavy / bottlenecked games.
To add to what is already said here, LPDDR4x 4266 is faster than DDR4 3200. It will matter much more if your leaning on the igpu (both Intel and AMD igpus love this stuff) but with an MX450 the performance difference will be nearly imperceptible (MX450's memory will be much faster than any system memory).
