Design-wise, the Huawei MateBook 14s has a similar design to other Huawei laptops like the MateBook 16 and MateBook Pro X. It has a CNC machined aluminium chassis available in two colours, with our review model being Space Grey. Despite its solid metal build, it is surprisingly lightweight, coming in at 1.4KG.

The MateBook 16s isn’t bad value for money, but it certainly doesn’t come cheap. Verdict. Huawei’s updated MateBook 16s remains an excellent 16in laptop, but not much has changed compared to last year. In fact, the only upgrade is a new 13 th-gen Intel CPU. While performance and battery life are noticeably improved as a result, it still
The Huawei MateBook X Pro 2019 does have a smaller battery (57Whr) than both the Asus ZenBook 15 (73Whr) and ZenBook Pro 14 (70Whr), but that shouldn’t account for such a big drop in battery

The Huawei MateBook D15 laptop is not the best laptop for gaming, as it does not have a dedicated graphics card. However, it is a good choice for light video or photo editing and productivity tasks. The lack of a dedicated graphics card means that most gamers would not view this as their primary source of gaming and entertainment.
Huawei MateBook X Pro Signature Edition vs. MSI Prestige 15 The MSI Prestige 15 (view on Amazon ) is one of those competing Windows 10 laptops that comes ahead of the MateBook X Pro in a few key ways, with higher benchmark scores, improved gaming performance via the NVIDIA GeForce GTX1650 (Max-Q) card, and longer battery life.
Its good for school work but have not done any gaming on it. I love the Matebook D14, I had the one from 2018 with i5. I think it is a good laptop even though I never played games on it (used for work as a software developer) Oh, so low fps huh. That's fine though.
1. Posted March 13, 2019. Yes, it's one of the best laptops you can get right now in the price range of $550 to $700. The lower-end version has a Ryzen 4 2500U with a Vega 8 iGPU and the higher-end one has a Core i5-8250U with a beefier Nvidia MX150 dedicated GPU.
Real-time gaming on the Huawei MateBook 14 was surprisingly good. The Intel Iris Xe GPU isn’t as bad as I thought it would be and while you probably won’t be able to play the latest games at 4K 60FPS, you could get away with HD gaming at 30FPS on the notebook.
